Letter - Safe and Sound Campain
"Dear Campaigner
Help us make childhood better for all children
Success! That's a word we all like to hear. And I am pleassed to say that we can use it with confidence in this issue of Campaign Now.
I'm delighted to tell you that the support you have provided over the years for our Safe and SSound campaign has resulted in a fantastic breakthrough for young runaways at eisk on our streets. the Government has finally announced that local councils must change the way they treat runaways, and a cross-Government working group has been established to review what action needs to be taken. This is a tremendous step forward in our work and it's all thanks to your continued pressure, support and committment.
But one sucess doesn't mean the end of campaining. Did you know that the UK is the worst country in the developed world for children to grow up in? We want to change this, which is why we've launched Hundreds and Thousands, a campaingn that will capture hundreds and thousands of childhood memories to help us understand what makes for a good childhood.
So you see, by contributing to our campaigns, you are helping to make childhood better for children in the UK? Thank you, your support is invaluable."
