I've just come back from helping to put the Annual report together... we had a very speedy and efficient production line going and finished in great time. I stuck around drinking coffee and scoffing biccies whilst chatting to Christine, "Floris" and John about our new site - what they thought and where we see the site going...

I'm quite chuffed that they seem to like it and have been playing with it quite a lot!

Last night we killed the old site so I could move "www.stjohnshillingdon.org.uk" to a different hosting service... so it grabbed its passport, packed it's little virtual bags and wandered off into the ether. When it arrived at its destination we then had to tell the new computers how to look after it, it so it sat in a virtual waiting room while the new computers found it a nice new home. It's unpacked it's bags now, raided the mini-bar and made itself comfortable.

This can take a few days to happen so I was incredibly exited to get home and find that it's all moved and up and running in less than 24 hours! I was expecting things to be out of action till at least Thursday.

So here it is... your new website. It's taken 6 months of planning, learning and development, and a lot of hard work to put our vision into action. We're incredibly pleased with how it's turned out so far but we didn't do it for us... we did it for you guys so we hope you like it too! If there are things you think we could do better or things you woud like us to explain then please get in touch. We still have plans and ideas for other things we can add or improve and are always learning so any feedback (even if it's bad) will be gratefully recieved.
