Countdown Timer

Countdown Timer

Some of you may have noticed the countdown timer for the festival on the front page.

Should you wish, the countdown timer can be enabled on every page by changing your account settings.

  • Simply click 'My account' in the top grey menu.
  • Then click 'Edit' beside your name.
  • Then scroll down to just under your picture till you see an area titled 'Block configuration'.
  • Click the little checkbox beside Festival 2008.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the 'Submit' button.

The countdown timer will relocate to the righthand sidebar pages other than the front page to save space for all the menus, but the function is the same. You can also enable or disable any of the other blocks on the right hand side of the screen should you wish to.

If you get stuck, contact me and I'll enable or disable the blocks for you.

Countdown timer.

Oh I wish I could make it play the Teddy Bears Picnic theme, but alas not.:D

But, in the time leading up to the first event, (Fri 8pm) the timer will turn red, and when the timer expires the message will change to..... Nah, you'll just have to wait and see, won't you. :$
