I know this isn't the best place for this but its the only thing accessible to me so here goes. we are painting the small hall tomorrow Feb 14th- if anyone wants to join in they would be most welcome! wear old clothes, bring a bucket, scrubbing brush, roller, tray or just yourself. What a great way to spend valentine's day- sorry we cant promise you will find romance there

Posting news

If you have news items and give me enough advance notice I can put them in the news on the front page then more people have a chance of seeing them.

Sorry I missed the painting... was away for the weekend busy catering for the masses! Though 24 hours notice may not have been enough even if I'd been around Sad

Up and running...

You can always pluck news stuff out of the weekly notices in The Link, if you manage to find those extra few minutes needed in each day to do all the little extra things...(Good luck!)

The Lent Meetings blurb could be copied across as it is, for example...

Grateful for all your work. Hope catering went smoothly and the masses were nice to you!

Stuff

Catering mostly went smoothly - wasn't stressed enough and got a little complacent so we ate a little later than planned (though not much) but otherwise a roaring success. The apple souflees went down really well as did the creme brulee. We managed to steam enough steak and kidney puddings with some to spare too!

Will add lent info to news page in a mo.

Have earmarked a slot on Friday mornings to update the website and am hoping I can stick to it! Paid work seems to be picking up at the moment so I'm having to get myself much more organised! Plus I have several other projects on the go... busy, busy, busy!

Not stressed enough???

Congrats on not being stressed enough! Sounds worth waiting for. Mr Ecclesiastes-man would approve (there's nothing better than to eat, drink and enjoy your work!)

Thanks for doing the Lent Course news. Hope your new organised regime goes well... (When you discover the secret, let me know...)
