Help fight poverty and injustice by supporting one of the world's biggest fundraising events. Here at St John's we have been committed to supporting Christian Aid both prayerfully and financially for many years.

This year we have various events planned during Christian aid week, these include...

• Saturday 24th May - BBQ/ Bring & Buy Rob & Kath invite everyone to a BBQ 4.30pm - 6.30pm at the Vicarage. Tickets £1.50 adults, £1 children & concessions. Ticket price includes the first burger and a drink. There will be a Bring & Buy stall. All proceeds will go to Christian Aid.

• Sunday May 18th - St John's Gift Day for Christian Aid: you have been handed an envelope today, if you would like to make a donation to Christian Aid please return it on May 18th, which will be a special Gift Day for Christian Aid at St John's.

• Friday 16th May - Quiz Evening in church 7.00pm for 7.30pm £6 per person inc buffet. Call Gay or David Durston to book a place: 0208 476 3533
