Junior Church

Junior Church is split into two groups at the moment.

• "Genesis" for the 5 to 11's

• "Revelation" for the over 11's

We meet from 10.00 till 10.45 in the small hall.

The children are dropped off by their parents and are brought back to church by the leaders in time for communion.

We try to make it as much fun as we can for the children, and don't want them to feel as if they are coming to school again, although we do expect certain levels of behaviour. Good listening is a must!!!!!

We use the Scripture Union magazines XStream and The Grid and from them, we do drama, craft activities, fun games, occasionally singing if we feel brave, all on bible-based stories.

is our group for young people in Year 10 and above.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (and occasionally at other times) normally at church

• Louise - the Scottish one

• Holly - the innovative/creative/vocal one (take your pick)

• John - the juvenile one

• Ellis - the blonde one

• Con - the sarcastic one

• Liz - the sensible one

• Elizabeth - the rational one

• Claire - the giggly one

• Emily - the enthusiastic one

We have great fun and love every minute! Riding wheelchairs, making angels (to raise money), camping in a slum we'd built in someone's garden, winning pub quizzes (this one hasn't actually happened yet!), spending time together and discussing stuff.

We go on holidays to Soul Survivor (it's nearly as muddy as Glastonbury!)
