I pray for all those who feel alone, or struggle at this present time. I pray for all of us that struggle to do God's will and put his ways first in our lives. I pray for all thoughs who strugsle and do not know they can turn to God for help. I pray for the times when it is hard to see, trust and accept what God is doing and what help he is sending

I pray that God would be close to and help my Granparents at this time. My Grandpop has Luekiamia which has grown steadily worse this year. He has had several blood transfusions this year but his health continues to fail. As a result of his reduced physical abilities and in order to look after my Granny they have decided to move from the home they have been in for 30 years. My Grandpop leaves behind his favourite passtime, his beautiful kept Veg garden and the home he had hoped to die in. I pray that the move goes smoothly and that they adjust quickly to the changes to their lives. I also pray that God will help then face the realities of the future ahead of them. Especially as I am not sure what faith they have

thank you Father for our festival, for all the fun and entertainment we had, all the opportunites we had to share our love for You with others and  the chance to work together for Your church. 

I am praying for a friend of my son who has recently lost his dad in an accident.

My thoughts and prayers are with him, his sister and his mum. 

May they take comfort from knowing that family and friends' thoughts and prayers are with them and that God is with them always.

Father God I pray especially for a friend of mine who finds it hard to sleep because he is worried about his health and the lack of sleep is not helping his health - so its a viscious circle

Father God - please bless our Festival  and I pray that what we do is pleasing to you

Praying for Annie and other elderly members of our church who are housebound and spend most of their time alone and unwell. May they have an unwavering sense of God's love for them. Help us as a church to do what we can.

Father, I pray that the local community will respond to our invitation and I pray that all the things that we are doing at the festival pleases you.

Could you pray that I try to make the right decisions about things in my life.

My Vicar, Martin is moving on in September leaving Me (Kinder), and a team to hold things together. We will not be recieving a replacement vicar. It's exciting times ahead as we work out what St Bart's Church will look like in the future. We ask for prayers that we are open to the holy Spirit for guidance. As i work in the community, I pray that the church come together to run the church and give me the continued space to connect with the community and continue to build links.

We ask for prayers for Gina as she looks at ordination next July, just as my contract comes to an end. The children Josh and Genesia as they come to terms of the possibility of moving next summer.

We thank St Johns for their love and support over the past 18 years. These prayers have helped sustain us in all we do, escpecially here in Sheffield.
