Mid Morning Team - Christine Bartlett

By mid- morning we mean 9.30am-11.30am, the last half hour being our chance to socialise over coffee and biscuits and carry out bits of church business. There are 4 different teams who plan and lead each of the 4 Sundays of the month and there is also a mid-morning leadership team that meets 3 times a year to discuss how things are going.

Late Morning Team - Jane Upchurch

We still plan each week’s morning service in a team, discussing and refining the theme, and choosing the readings and the discussion question.  I am enjoying working with my new team for the 3rd Sunday of Caroline, Rick and Mark, with Rob as consultant or stand-in as we need him.  This gives a unity to all the different strands of rolling worship through each Sunday. We also have new people in our late morning team which consists of Kath, Jackie Parsonage, Graeme, Lucy, Christine and myself plus Rob.  As well as worship songs and input around the theme, we try and have some sort of activity for everyone, a time of discussion when the adults and children are in separate groups, prayer time all together around the communion table, and then communion.  Afterwards we share lunch together.  

Evening Prayer - George Pinnell

The loyal band of 5pm worshippers have faithfully continued to serve God well although the numbers are small their voices are strong and despite singing unaccompanied they sing with great enthusiasm.  Not many churches in the area hold regular Evening Prayer Services we can only continue with your support so please give it a try. I do ask you to pray for this service and its continuation The evening prayer service is a lovely way to end a day so I do encourage you to consider it, you will be made very welcome so go on join us one evening you could like what you find!!!
